Hi, I'm Paul and as Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC), I support the managing director and lead a team of speciality representatives to advise on clinical matters and governance and to ensure the very highest clinical standards are maintained.
I am a consultant interventional radiologist with an NHS base at the Birmingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and private practices in Birmingham and London. I undertake a wide variety of minimally invasive procedures under x‐ray and scanning control. I have held national roles in the British Society of Interventional Radiologists (BSIR) and act as a specialist advisor to NICE for the Interventional Procedures Programme.
I have been a director of HealthHarmonie since 2006 and it has been a pleasure to be part of a dynamic responsive young company that can work with commissioners to innovate and deliver cost effective patient centred care in ways that larger more unwieldy organisations cannot match.
My various commitments leave little free time but I like to keep in shape at military fitness bootcamps and can sometimes be found at Cannon Hill Park doing press‐ups in the mud!
