Before joining the organisation, I worked at the Birmingham Women’s Hospital from 1966 until my retirement from the NHS in 2002. I was Clinical Director from 1985 and Medical Director from 1994. I joined HealthHarmonie as Medical Director and remained in this role until I retired from active clinical practice in 2018. I became Governance Director in 2019, heading our clinical investigations and assisting with complex complaints and those of a clinical nature. I chair table top meetings between complainants and clinicians and as part of the Medical Advisory Committee, I work with the Chairman and our clinical leads in all clinical and quality matters.
