HealthHarmonie Commissioned to Deliver New Elective Gynaecology Service Across South Yorkshire

HealthHarmonie is delighted to announce that we have been commissioned by South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to deliver a new elective Gynaecology service for patients across the region.

This development expands our long-standing partnership with the NHS and strengthens our commitment to improving access to high-quality women’s health services closer to home.

Consultant-Led Gynaecology Care Delivered in the Community
The new service will provide patients with fast, reliable access to specialist gynaecology care across multiple convenient local locations, including central Sheffield.

By delivering consultant-led clinics outside of hospital settings, we aim to reduce waiting times, increase capacity in secondary care, and ensure patients receive the right level of support in the right place.

Supporting Primary Care and Reducing Hospital Pressures
This commissioned service has been designed to support GPs by providing a clear, structured pathway for patients requiring gynaecology assessment and treatment.

Our approach helps the wider system by:

  • Increasing community capacity
  • Reducing hospital outpatient backlogs
  • Ensuring appropriate triage and management
  • Improving patient experience through reduced travel and shorter waits

Working Together to Improve Access to Women’s Health
We look forward to partnering closely with GPs, PCNs and secondary care colleagues across South Yorkshire to deliver high-quality, accessible gynaecology services within the area.
