Launch of Advice and Guidance service in Dacorum and Watford and Three Rivers


We’ve launched an Advice and Guidance service as part of our community dermatology service in Dacorum and Watford and Three Rivers.

Available via the NHS e-Referral Service, advice and guidance serves as a platform for conversation between referrers and our specialist clinicians. The service provides access to specialist dermatological advice before an appointment is requested, enabling referrers to ensure that each patient is treated in the most appropriate and timely way for their condition.

Referrers may seek advice about a patient’s specific health issue or query whether a patient needs to be referred to a service. The request and our response will be displayed on the Advice and Guidance worklist and you can convert your referral to a booking request if appropriate.
